Dr. Brooke Scheller, DCN, CNS, MS is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition with over 12 years of experience and quotes in top wellness publications, including Well+Good, mindbodygreen, and Byrdie. After working as a consultant to health and nutrition brands, Brooke got the opportunity to write a chapter in a textbook on using nutrition as a part of the treatment for alcoholism. She took her last drink shortly after seeing all the research linking alcohol to dysfunction in the body, and she now specializes in alcohol’s effects on your brain, gut, and hormones.
